Herdsmen Move Livestock to Winter Pastures for Grazing

Herdsmen were seen herding their livestock towards winter pastures in Altay, Xinjiang, on September 6. This organized migration, involving herdsmen from five towns, was initiated on September 1 to facilitate the movement of approximately 200,000 head of livestock. The effort ensures that the natural pastures have adequate time to recuperate and regenerate.

The journey takes the herds through breathtaking landscapes, including the areas near Kanas Lake and Baihaba National Forest Park. The unique and stunning scenery, combined with the plumes of dust raised by the migrating herds, creates a picturesque display of nature's harmony.
